The servers (if there are some open ones at least, since eRs is down, sometimes there isn't even one)
lag as hell, I don't want to name the people here, who host such a disaster, but in opposite of the past, they have become the majority of the active hosters.

That's one important point, why lots of people feel pissed, (Rusher does, BBV, PanterA, and some more, ofc me too) and they start to loose interest in XIII.

For example; DS, was very active, then Zoomy and BBV began to play CSS, CSS a Game with more players, better and more servers, DS nearly died...(CoD4 had the same efect on XIII '08)

eXo died too, Noel favoured AssaultCube instead of XIII...

HnD..? Well, the only one i saw is BiZzaR playing the past two months...
beS, died...

bFe is super inactive...
HeS, after their defeat, they gave up on playing XIII and lame now on CS 1.06 told us sCeu...
even fun clans like edge and DBT dissapeared(edge to CSS, DBT, I dont know)

Rusher, PanterA and me are playing some times, but we spent our "gaming" time more with other games instead of XIII... so we are a bit inactive too, members like Bleach, Blackout and R0Xx3R are constantly inactive.....

I don't blame anyone, its just a normal development of an old game, unable to compete with other (more actual) games....

My conclusion is; to make a tournament like GIAO possible, we should attract first some new peeps(maybe do a bit promo, like offering a free Link to download the multiplayer Version) and convince some old ones to come back...

and also alot ppl dont care about insdieXIII so we ahve to ask or do it in another way to ask the ppl they dont use insideXIII maybe some would take part of them

I think it's quite impossible to arrange all this. You need someone with good organisation skills. I would love to organise it again, but I'm afraid I don't have time for it.

In my eyes not organisation would be the problem but more concurrence of participants.
My suggestion to you is that you shouldn't do it when you already doubt at this point that you can take enough time.

Also this would be maybe a last motivation for older players like me to play XIII again, because it has never been so easy to win a tournament like this if a guy like ACAB calls himself the favourite.

you can come all at me at once, do a 1vs5 match with your "old players(inactive farts)", Im gonna do you good....

heres my "wishlist" of participants in alphabetic order;

-ACAB (everyones knows why)
-BBV ( A bit inactive but still one of the best XIII players ever)
-Belia (everyone knows why)
-Cube (active and high skilled with nades and sniper)
-Doomi (yes the bFe one, his unscoped sniper is equal to mine, hes active and plays an insane sniper tactic on every map)
-Michi (inactive but im sure hes highskilled; allrounder like)
-Motel (not sure about the activity, but in our 1vs1 he showed he plays with a smart tactic)
-Rusher (a bit inactive but absolutley able to compete with the Rest)
